A winter holiday in Val Gardena in the Dolomites is not perfect without the great fun experience of a speedy downhill ride on a sledge.
In Val Gardena as well as at the Alpe di Siusi, there are numerous beautiful toboggan runs. The funicular of Rasciesa takes you from Ortisei to the mountain station at 2132 m, where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding Dolomites. From Rasciesa a 6 km long well-groomed slope leads through snow covered forests and meadows to Ortisei.
Also the nearby Alpe di Siusi offers great conditions for tobogganing in the magnificent natural scenery of the Dolomites. On the 6 toboggan runs winter fun for the whole family is guaranteed. A special experience is night tobogganing at the Alpe di Siusi with a cosy dinner in a rustic mountain hut.
